"I wonder if Seate feels the same animosity toward men's sports in which the main goal appears to be beating the snot out of each other? Does he consider boxing a farce? Football? Rugby? The whole spectrum of martial arts? Is seeing women play a full-contact sport so threatening that he must retaliate by writing slanderous columns calling it sordid, violent and stupid? Low blows, but nothing we can't handle. As for Mr. Seate, I suggest he gets over his fear of roller derby fast because it's not disappearing anytime soon.
