Tallahassee Rollergirls open season Saturday
The Tallahassee Rollergirls will play their season-opening game against Panama City Roller Derby at 7 p.m. Saturday at the North Florida Fairgrounds. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the all-girl flat-track roller derby action.
Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 in advance and are available at CD Warehouse or at http://www.tallahasseerollergirls.com/. Kids under 12 get in free. The event is sponsored by Aaron's Rents.
Bleacher and floor seating are available at the bout, and folding chairs are welcome. Parking for the event is free and can be accessed through the gate opening located on Monroe Street. Refreshments and alcohol will be available for purchase from Clyde's and Costello's. The event is rated PG-13 for possible strong language and adult humor.
The Tallahassee Rollergirls season goes until October with bouts both home and away.
